CruiseCrew helps local car communities coordinate garages, meets, photos, comments, and cruise activity. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it in clear, friendly terms.
Information you share with CruiseCrew
- Account creation and login: we use your account details to create your CruiseCrew profile, keep your account secure, and let you sign in.
- Email address collection: we collect your email address for login, account messages, password resets, and support.
- Display name and profile information: your display name and profile details help other members know who they are cruising with.
- Vehicle and garage information: cars, modifications, descriptions, and garage details you add may be visible to your crew or the public areas of the app.
- Uploaded photos: photos you post are used to display community albums and may include information you choose to show in the image or caption.
- Comments and replies: comments, replies, and reactions you submit are stored so conversations can appear in the app.
- Meets, RSVPs, and check-ins: we use event details, RSVP choices, and check-ins to coordinate meetups and show activity to the community.
Location, notifications, and service providers
- Cruise Mode location sharing: if you use Cruise Mode or map features, location data may be used to show your current cruise activity. Only share location when you are comfortable doing so.
- Notifications: we may send in-app or push notifications about account activity, crew updates, events, comments, and app messages when you enable them.
- Supabase: we use Supabase for authentication, database storage, and related backend services.
- Vercel: we use Vercel to host and deliver the CruiseCrew web app and PWA.
- Resend: we may use Resend to send transactional emails such as support, login, or notification-related messages.
- Geoapify: we may use Geoapify for map, geocoding, or location lookup features.

Community responsibilities
- You are responsible for your account, your posts, your vehicles, and the information you choose to share.
- Keep CruiseCrew friendly and respectful. Treat other drivers, crews, event hosts, and community members with courtesy.
- Do not post illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, explicit, or otherwise unsafe content.
- User-generated content must be yours to share and should not violate another person’s rights, privacy, or safety.
- CruiseCrew may remove content, hide posts, disable features, or restrict accounts when needed to protect the app or community.
Meets, safety, and service availability
- Meets and events: event details are shared by users or organizers. Drive safely, follow local laws, and make your own decisions about attending any meetup.
- Cruise Mode and location sharing: location features are provided for convenience and community coordination. Do not use them while distracted, and do not rely on them for emergency, safety-critical, or legal decisions.
- Service availability: we work hard to keep CruiseCrew running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service.
